George Teodorescu is the author of Kenotomy: The Metamorphosis of Ideas — a Structural Theory of Innovation ans Civilisational Change, a work devoted to the depth of change and to the question of how genuine innovation begins.
His work brings together innovation theory, design theory, philosophy of science, and structural reflection on transformative change. Across these fields, he has pursued one central concern: how inherited frames are questioned, how exhausted systems are left behind, and how new meaning begins to emerge.
Biography
George Teodorescu is Director of the International Institute for Integral Innovation in Meran, Italy, and a university professor, theorist, and inventor whose work spans philosophy of science, innovation theory, design theory, and structural approaches to transformative change.
His research focuses on paradigm shifts, institutional reorganization, and large-scale renewal as intelligible processes, developed most fully in his book project Kenotomy.
From 1992 to 2012, he led the Master’s Program Integral Innovation at the State Academy of Fine Arts and Design Stuttgart, where he developed the curriculum and introduced the theoretical constructs of Kenotomy and Seminality.
Alongside his academic and theoretical work, he has been active internationally as an inventor and patent holder, with granted European, U.S., German, Japanese, and Chinese patent documentation.

Work and Orientation
The work of George Teodorescu moves across theory, pedagogy, invention, and institutional formation.

This orientation also defines Kenotomy.
The book does not treat innovation as refinement within familiar limits, but as a structural question: how thought reopens meaning, how systems are reorganized, and how new fields of action emerge.

Laboratory transport and analysis systems
A major strand of this work is represented by laboratory analysis and transport system patents, including US 9,969,570 B2, EP 3 037 369 B1, and EP 2 566 787 B1. These systems address the transport of probes between stations as a planar motor, and the organization of laboratory analysis with high flexibility and efficiency.
HEXFLY
A modular drone system developed as part of George Teodorescu’s innovation work in modular and structural design. Currently documented as an EPO-filed application.
